have i ever mentioned how much i fucking hate valentine's day!!!!
another corporate holiday, but its focus is upon making those of us not traditionally coupled to feel lonely and even the worst of relationships have flowers and candy to coverup all the fucking bullshit they have dealt with in the previous year. If someone needs to pick a time to tell someone how much they love them, they have 364 other days in the year to actual recognize someone for what they mean as opposed to a capitilistic obligation!

I can understand your annoyance! I was center on the barrier - so it was a little easier for me to hear - but yes it was a little wacked out (the sound) - so being any distance away would have sucked ass. I was somewhat oblivious to what was happening behind me because I was in utter awe of the band.
Closing with death sex was strange - but other than that I thought it was an awesome set - a little short - but better than nothing. A club show would have been 100000000x better - but thats what ripped off Brisbane gets.
My night was made a little better when earlier on in the day a member of boring QOTSA put my ticketless friend on the guestlist - allowing her floor entrance to the event as well as an aftershow party ticket - which we gave to a crazed QOTSA fan as there were 5 of us.
